3. Estimates and Quotes
3.1 Free Estimates
We provide free estimates for potential projects. Estimates are based on information provided by the client and our preliminary assessment. Final pricing may differ based on actual conditions discovered during the project.
3.2 Quote Validity
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to adjust quotes for changes in scope, materials, or market conditions.
4. Service Agreements
4.1 Project Scope
All work will be performed according to the written agreement. Changes to the scope must be approved in writing and may result in additional charges.
4.2 Timeline
We will provide estimated completion times. While we strive to meet deadlines, timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather, material availability, site conditions, or other factors.
4.3 Site Access
You must provide safe, reasonable access to the work area. We are not responsible for delays caused by lack of access or unsafe conditions.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Payment Schedule
Payment terms will be specified in your service agreement. Typically, we require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due upon completion.
5.2 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. Additional processing fees may apply for credit card transactions.
5.3 Late Payments
Late payments may incur interest charges and may result in work stoppage. We reserve the right to pursue collection for unpaid amounts.
6. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:

- Make timely payments according to the agreed schedule
7. Materials and Products
7.1 Client-Provided Materials
If you provide materials, you are responsible for ensuring they are suitable for the intended purpose and free of defects. We are not liable for failures due to defective client-provided materials.
7.2 Company-Provided Materials
Materials we supply are covered by manufacturer warranties. We will pass on all applicable warranties but do not guarantee manufacturer products beyond what is provided by the manufacturer.
8. Warranty and Disclaimers
8.1 Workmanship Warranty
We warrant our workmanship for one year from completion, provided the work has not been altered or subjected to misuse. This warranty covers installation defects, not normal wear and tear or issues beyond our control.
8.2 Disclaimer of Results
WE PROVIDE INFORMATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES BUT DO NOT GUARANTEE RESULTS. OUTCOMES DEPEND ON MANY FACTORS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO EXISTING STRUCTURAL CONDITIONS, MATERIAL QUALITY, ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS, AND PROPER MAINTENANCE. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES BEYOND THOSE EXPRESSLY STATED IN WRITING.
8.3 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OUR SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless American Wood Installers, Inc., its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of American Wood Installers, Inc. or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any legal proceedings will be conducted in Suffolk County, New York.
13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, supply chain disruptions, labor disputes, or government actions.
14. Termination
14.1 By Client
You may terminate a project with written notice. You will be responsible for costs incurred up to the termination date plus reasonable wind-down costs.
14.2 By Company
We may terminate for non-payment, safety concerns, breach of these Terms, or other good cause. In such cases, you remain responsible for work performed.
15. Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, along with any service agreement, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
- Amendments: We may amend these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of amendments.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights without our written consent.
